Let’s talk about the feeling nobody wants to admit to in church: anger.

Anger at the situation. Anger at the people who didn’t see it coming. Anger at yourself. And the one that scares moms most — anger at God. It sits there like a stone in your chest, and then the guilt piles on top because good Christians aren’t supposed to feel this way.

But here’s what Scripture actually says: “Be angry and do not sin” (Ephesians 4:26, ESV). Read that again. Be angry — and do not sin. Anger itself isn’t the sin. It’s what we do with it that matters.

God is not afraid of your anger, mom. He’s not disappointed that you feel it. He’s big enough to hold it, and He’d rather have your honest anger than your polite silence.

In this episode, I talk openly about the anger that comes with suicide loss — where it comes from, what to do with it, and how to hand it to God instead of letting it harden your heart.

Listen to the episode:

If you’re angry, you’re not a bad Christian — you’re an honest one. Share this with a mom who’s afraid to say it out loud. And if the anger ever feels overwhelming, 988 is available day and night (U.S. or Canada).
