You may not know what to do with any of it.

This space was created so you don’t have to figure that out alone.

Here, we don’t rush healing.
We don’t ignore the hard parts.
We learn how to bring every piece of our grief to God—and let Him meet us there.

Whether your loss is recent or years behind you…
you are welcome here.

Speaking Engagements for Churches & Grief Groups

When I speak to churches, my heart is to equip and encourage those who are walking alongside grieving moms. While I share from my own story of loss, the focus is on helping women’s groups and ministry leaders better understand what grieving moms are truly experiencing—and how to support them in ways that are compassionate, helpful, and rooted in God’s truth.

I create a space where leaders can honestly explore the challenges of supporting someone in deep grief—what to say, what not to say, and how to simply be present without trying to fix what cannot be fixed. Together, we look at how the church can become a place of safety for grieving moms, where their pain is acknowledged, their questions are welcomed, and their faith can be gently nurtured.

Through a Scripture-centered message, I offer practical, thoughtful ways to come alongside grieving moms—not with pressure or platitudes, but with steady love, patience, and understanding. My goal is to help churches feel more confident in supporting these moms, so no one has to walk this road feeling unseen or alone.

When I speak directly with grief groups, I lean more deeply into my personal story—sharing the loss of my child and the many emotions that followed, from anger to guilt to deep sorrow. I openly share how God met me in those moments, even when I couldn’t feel Him, and how He gently carried me through each step of the journey. These gatherings are more personal and tender, creating space for moms to see that they are not alone and that God is present, even here.

It would be an honor to serve your church and walk alongside both your leaders and the moms you care for.

Your Support is Needed

Testimony Through Tears exists to walk alongside moms in one of the hardest journeys imaginable. Every podcast episode, companion guide, Bible study, and resource is created with one purpose—to bring hope, truth, and the presence of God into places that feel unbearably heavy.

I’ve chosen not to charge moms for these resources. When a mom is hurting, the last thing she should have to think about is whether she can afford support. Because of that, this ministry is completely supported by those who feel called to come alongside it.

There are many moving parts behind the scenes—podcast platforms, website hosting, resource creation, and the tools needed to continue reaching moms who are searching for hope. Your support helps make all of this possible.

If this ministry has encouraged you, or if you simply believe in the heart behind it, I invite you to consider giving a love offering. Every gift, no matter the size, helps continue this work and reach another mom who needs it.

If giving financially isn’t possible right now, there are still meaningful ways to support:

  • Learn more about speaking engagements and consider inviting me to your church or group
  • Share the ministry with someone who may need it
  • And most importantly, pray—for the moms, for this mission, and for God to continue guiding every step

Thank you for being part of what God is doing through Testimony Through Tears. 💜

16 Months In: What Grief Actually Looks Like

People who haven't walked this road sometimes ask me how I'm doing with a hopeful look in their eyes — like maybe enough time has passed that I have a tidy answer for them. I don't. Sixteen months ago, I lost my daughter Samantha. She was 26 years old. And if you're...

Meet Janet and Samantha

Hi, I’m Janet. I’m a Christian mom who has walked through deep loss, including the suicide of my daughter, Samantha.

Samantha was full of life—she loved to sing, brought laughter everywhere she went, and was a constant part of my everyday life. We talked daily, worked side by side, and shared a bond that still shapes who I am today.

After losing her, I experienced the overwhelming weight of grief—anger, guilt, and questions I didn’t know how to carry. But through it all, God never left me. He met me in the darkest moments and began gently teaching me how to live again.

Testimony Through Tears was born from that place. It’s a ministry created to walk alongside other grieving moms, helping them lean on God and begin to see how even their deepest pain can become part of their testimony.
