NEAR TO THE BROKENHEARTED
You don't have to grieve alone.
A private community for Christian moms who have lost a child to suicide. Come as you are — messy, questioning, undone. You will be understood here.
A safe place for moms like us
“Near to the Brokenhearted” is my private Facebook group — a safe, gentle corner of the internet for Christian moms grieving the loss of a child to suicide. No explaining. No performing “fine.” Just moms who get it, walking this road together with Jesus.
Our name comes from Psalm 34:18: “The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” (ESV) — because that is exactly where He meets us.
What happens inside
Weekly rhythm
Monday scripture, Tuesday check-ins, a Wednesday devotional, Thursday conversation, Friday podcast reminders, and a Saturday prayer thread. Sundays we rest.
Say their names
Your child’s name is spoken out loud and remembered with love here. Always.
Real prayer
We pray for each other — really pray, by name, for the hard days and the heavy nights.
Annual group cruise
Once a year we get away together — rest, laugh, cry, and make new memories side by side.
Is this group for you?
If you are a Christian mom grieving the loss of your child to suicide — yes, this is for you. Whether it has been two weeks or ten years. Whether you are angry, numb, or barely holding on. There is a seat saved for you.

“You are seen. You are loved. You are not alone. And your child’s name will be spoken here.”
