One of the biggest fears grieving moms confess to me is this: “What if everyone forgets them?”
As the months go by, people stop saying their name. The world moves on. And you’re left holding all these precious memories, terrified that if you don’t keep telling their story, it’ll fade away like they were never here.
Let me settle that fear right now: your child’s story didn’t end the day they died. It continues every time you speak their name, share a memory, or let God use what you’ve walked through to help another mom.
“We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD” (Psalm 78:4, ESV). Telling the story is an act of faith. It’s how love outlives loss.
In this episode, I talk about practical, beautiful ways to carry your child’s story forward — through memory, through testimony, and through the lives you touch because of them.
